10/05/2023 – BC Securities Commission issues caution against KCCCoin
KCCCoin claims to be an investment company that specializes in cryptocurrencies. Its website was accessible, and lists the name KCCCoin FINANCIAL USA, Inc. Since the website does not include a registered office, I was unable to confirm that this company is incorporated in any U.S. jurisdiction.
A press release using the same branding mentioned KCCCoin FINANCIAL INC. in London, England. A search of the Companies House database for companies in the UK did not return any results for “KCCCoin FINANCIAL INC.” A search for “KCC” did return 190 companies, but at least after a cursory review, none of them appeared related to KCCCoin.

09/18/2023 – BC Securities Commission issues caution against WEEX.Pro, Inc.
WEEX.Pro, Inc. claims to be a cryptocurrency trading platform. Websites were accessible and looked professional:
It looks like this one might be trying to impersonate WEEX. But, I wasn’t able to verify anything about WEEX either. Crunchbase says it’s in Singapore, but I couldn’t find any address or corporate registration data.
